It was probably intended for you to do most of the defending from the central tower where you can just stack lots of units and forget about. This is definitely the weak point of the design. Maybe adding a "door" there could be enough to stop the AI walking through there and make them siege as I guess it was intended. Its quite cool but the fct is i have played against the AI there twice and both times they abused this and instead of sieging just walked through there, which is quite annoying =(. It could simply be said that the four horse carriage is more resilient and its charge more impetuous, and therefore better for close up engagements.īy the way, have you noticed there is a small passage to the left of the Ikana city that leads directly into the plaza and thus bypasses the walls? lets say with some nice wheel blades, to rip apart peoples legs and stuff. What I'm thinking of concretely is to maybe nerf the actual carriage slightly in melee, making it a bit more distance focused, and give them something like this I must say I think its one of the cooler units in the game, and I was thinking, why not push this idea even a bit further? Why not give them a carriage drawn by four horses? Though while playing I've been thinking about a few things which would be cool to have added to them, here are my suggestions:ġ.- The faction lacks cavalry units, which is fine because it could simply be that they don't use this kind of warfare, instead they have their carriages. Hey guys, this is my first post regarding the Kingdom of Ikana, I just played them in the campaign with the new patch, and I must say I now understand why some of you like it as an awesome faction. haha, Maybe I don't remember right, but I don't remember anti-goddess imagery, the closest thing was the Triforce in Stone Tower Temple (btw, you should make that a special building already set up in the Stone Tower Ruins settlement if you haven't already. I imagine Termina probably looks different for every individual that ends up there. Termina manifested as it did because it was Link's personal idea of purgatory and what he needed to face in order to overcome his psychological problem. To me that game was about Link overcoming his psychological issue of loneliness and realizing that there are many friends to be had in the world rather then the one he fixated on after she left him. I don't think I'd necessarily call it the hell of Zelda, but when I played Majora's Mask I definitely got a purgatory vibe from the place: Looping days endlessly, people confused and unable to solve unhealthy psychological problems, the fact that almost every character in the game looked like people Link knew, and all the anti Goddess imagery found everywhere (particularly in Ikana). Until the Anubis were corrupted by the power that freed the Ikana's. Maybe The Anubis held the Ikana's imprison in purgatory. Their attacks sound like it would be Melee and do magic damage. They are slow, hard to kill, and take more damage from magic, and siege engines. Would suggest that they have the Heavily Armored status. Watching troops bust in to fire from a melee attack, would look great. However, a Fire Arrow or Din's Fire will also do the job.

Link must trick the Anubis to move it into the trap. If an Anubis is present, there will always be a fire trap in the room. The only way to defeat an Anubis is to use fire. Whenever Link moves, an Anubis moves in the opposite direction, and whenever an Anubis is attacked with the sword, it attacks back with fire. An Anubis only moves when Link moves and only attacks when he attacks. The Anubis is a mummified, jackal-like creature that resides in the Spirit Temple in Ocarina of Time.
